It would be best to have your customer sign up a free account at name.com and you can do a free push there. Then have it wait for 60 days before transferring to another registrar like GoDaddy, all he needs to do is pay for the transfer fees at GoDaddy.

First thing you do if you want to transfer from one registrar to another is to unlocking your domain name and remove all anonymous whois. Then at GoDaddy do a Transfer and pay for the transfer fees. Then go through the motion.

Make sure that the domain name does not expire during that time frame.

You can't push domain name from Name.com to GoDaddy.com, but can transfer from Name.com to GoDaddy.com

that's correct. also if the domain is expiring in 2 mos time it's better to transfer because renewal is more expensive...

Ask buyer to create an account at name.com
    Recieve payment
    Push domain to his account.
Ask him to initiate transfer to his GoDaddy account :)

    That's it!
    Good luck,

It doesn't take that much time (60 days). It would be done in a week. You will receive an email to confirm that you want to transfer, once it is done they will transfer the domain soon.
