How to Push Content Down in WP Theme

Hello,

I have a WP that I am changing,
I want the content section's text to start 20px down from where it does today,
but no matter where I change the margin it doesn't work.

Anyone knows where I can find out?

 

I use firebug and firefox to edit css on live sites. It might help you play around and discover what works?

 

@adbox: i tried,it's working fine, now reading about firebug to use that effectively
