how to push article to page 1?

    Some people have written: I have to bring my article to page 1 on google and sales come in. (or something similar)

    Now, What do you have to do to push your article to page 1?


    At the moment I am doing bookmarking and backlinking from other article websites to my main article. I only do this once when my main article got approved... Could this method bring my article to page 1?
    If not, could anyone please explain this to me? :)

    In theory you should be able to get your article to page 1 with bookmarking, answer marketing, backlinking, etc...but there is no hard rule to this, its not black and white but a shady gray area. Test Test and retest.
