How to publish text links??

    Hi guys,

I'm fairly new to this system, however I have signed up my site as a publisher for DP ads with google adsense running in the back if there are no advertisers from DP, all good!

However I also want the additional option of placing text links on my site, I have 8 positions overall in 2 different locations but I am unsure how to add these to the DP site, I can only see the ability to publish ads of various sizes through the publisher portal and not text links.

If you could help me ^^

    Thanks
    Andrew

It wouldn't be possible... You need to install the optional plug-ins available on the lust of your sites in the publisher tab for advanced options (email ads, inline keyword ads and static text link ads).

There's technically nothing preventing you from mimicking what the existing systems do. You could just download one of them and see.

Basically for static text links, you would need to query the server hourly for links, store them locally and output them on your home page.

Ah thanks, all set-up now just gotta take a look at this code. In the mean time I have thrown some money onto the ad side of things if you'd care to approve my ad.

    Thanks

Hmmmm... I don't see any pending ads in the system, are you sure it didn't already get reviewed?

My guess is that you have to make lots of posts, and possibly include keywords that are searched frequently in your forum posts on DB, in order to ads to potentially appear. I dunno. I'm only guessing.
