I'm trying to be creative and come up with something nobody else has done. I'm thinking of opening a reseller account on GoDaddy, HostGator, or whatever one sounds good, and offering free accounts with no ads or disabled features. Maybe I'd even go for bonus points if I somehow can arrange for free access to keyword research. I'm thinking maybe even a free account to themezoom, nichebot, or a similar keyword tool and/or some human help. I guarantee I'd get customers. How do I make money off of it?
You would sell advertising space on your site, and also possibly some type of referral affiliate links. Be careful... this is a highly exploited business and I can almost guarantee that without close monitoring of signups and accounts, you will get some 'less than favorable' people hosting sites on your servers which can create legal issues and can also get your account deleted from your hosts server without notice.
Perhaps you can get rids of ads, but just sell a few links. Ads are the most profitable though, probably for a free hosting site.
