I have a party interested in purchasing my website.

How do you go about proving revenue to someone who is

    1) Half way across the country.
    2) Suspicious of screenshots (rightfully so, I wouldn't trust screenshots either).

Anyone with experience in selling websites, I would really appreciate your experiences. I don't want to have to allow them direct access to my accounts just to prove previous revenue.

    Any tips?

If the websites makes money through adsense then change the code on your site to their adsense code, and they will see what revenue it generates.

If the other person is really serious about it, you could let him see your screen remotely, with something like LogMein or pcanywhere. You can then log into your accounts and show him visually that the revenue stats are real.

MS Netmeeting has options for desktop sharing - consider using that.

There is another way. http://tightvnc.com Its a free software. Download and install. It will allow you invite that person to see your computer. You can then show him live from your computer.
