How do you protect yourself when providing information on an educational/information site?

Here is what I have so far.

    -

(WEBSITE NAME) is not responsible for any typos, misprints, or errors found within these pages. The following information was provided for educational purposes. (WEBSITE NAME) does not have any control on external links.

You protect yourself by checking and rechecking all your sources, facts and content. A silly disclaimer at the bottom of a page won't protect you from anything if you steal content or libel someone.

And yes, you ARE responsible for typos, misprints and whatever else you create.

Of course, if it's 3rd party content, that's somewhat of another matter.

Just go to google and search "free terms of service". There's lots of sites out there that provide you with a free tos and free privacy policy. That's what I use.
