Get an external hardrive to back up all your files. An anti virus software with an online back up feature. If Microsoft's Windows Live OneCare is still around, this is what I would recommend. Too bad, it was already discontinued last June 2009.

 

I'm a little bit confuse, if the security of your important files are your concern, try my simple tips, I used to put all of important files inside a folder, next, compress your files using winrar/winzip and don't forget to add password. Last, rename the compressed files extension into something weird like .abc, .007 maybe.

What you thought about online storage service? I believe that they're particularly safe. And so, I used them a lot.

 

I usually use an external storage system yet you could also store your important files online.

 

I back up everything with an external storage system - it's simple and easy.

 

If its just matter of having a back-up for your files, storing it on an external storage system is the easiest thing to do. You can always keep it and use it anytime you need.

because its online...

external disk storage for saving files is better...back up!
