How To Properly Move Directory

I currently have a directory on my site http://www.napoleon.cc/directory and I have been advised to change or move it as it is sucking link juice from my site.

How should I do this so as to not lose PR value and also not to screw with people who have put links into directory?

    Thanks for your advice :)

PR is passing naturally from the main site to the directory, which is the case for most links.

The main site has a good value PR5 so optimization for keyword ranking should be very straight forward, without moving the directory link.

The directory being PR4 could stand up to being moved without being devalued, but you could need another direct PR5 page to link from to be sure.

The PR value of the directory may also take a few months for google to evaluate after the move has taken place.

Could be a tricky one I think.
