There's tons out there, I mean some don't work, sure, but there's so much competition. How is it possible to correctly advertise proxies?
I'd say SEO is the most important even though it's not really advertising. Back when I still owned my old proxy, I got to #1 for "unblock websites" and I'd make like $25 - $30/day just from that one proxy. One word of advice, be sure to have a server to handle that much traffic. The huge surge caught me by surprise and eventually the server was brought down for a few days. I lost all my traffic.
Hi mate perhaps check out this website and more specifically these two articles which both focus mainly on proxy sites and developing and advertising them. http://www.back-links.org/How-to-make-a-proxy-site.php http://www.back-links.org/10-Ways-To-Promote-A-Website.php Thanks Will.
Pay for Newsletters, Myspace bulletins, Submit it to tech-faq.com, proxy.org, and proxysites.ca is starting to generate some traffic aswell
I have found buying advertising hit and miss. Some of the services here on DP Forum are great! The problem is that you must maintain your traffic, which is something I have struggled with. You have to be careful not to out spend what your income is with advertising. So far, proxies are about a break even for me
