How to promote yourself on Twitter with RSS feeds

I'm too new to be able to post links, so I'll put website names in quotation marks and hopefully you'll be able to infer the urls yourself or just do a google search.

Let's say you have 2 or 3 blogs in the same type of content and you update those blogs every week (at least). Also maybe you have a direct feed from a sponsor too, and you can use this as well.

Let's say the blogs are about Movie Reviews.

1)Go to twitter and set up a twitter site, call it "MovieReviewsByTed" for example.

2)Go to "Twellow" and list your page. Here you can also find similar twitter sites you may want to follow and they may follow you back.

3)Go to "twitterfeed" or "rss2twitter" or use google's feedburner or something like this and input the RSS feeds from your 2 or 3 blogs into twitterfeed or feedburner.
Set them up so they update to twitter at least once every day, so at least you will have a new post on twitter every day. If at all possible every hour is better, if you can find enough RSS feeds in the similar subject you would be amazed at what a bunch of feeds can do in one day on twitter. But also be wary of having too many automated tweets, otherwise you might get marked as spam; so make a few legitimate tweets.

NOTE: you can tell twitterfeed to put an end tag at the end of every post which would give every post to twitter an ending like "brazilian bikini girls" but do not use hash tags (#), just the phrase which people will pick up on in searches on twitter. This works very well.

4)Find a site like "wefollow" which lets you choose 200 possible followers at one time, so it doesnt take very long, and you might get 40 or 50 of those followers from that 200.

5)Make a background design for your twitter page that is alluring, for instance in our example "MovieReviewsByTed" put some screenshots of your favourite movies. This is a good thing to do because it gets people to follow you.

6)You can have a link to one of your blogs on the twitter page so make sure it is the best one because people will click on it.

7)Once ever 2 days check back on the twitter site to make sure the feeds are still updating on the page and to check to see if you have more followers you need to add. This is 10 minutes worth of work, not much, and if you have an important announcement or something you want to advertise make a live on the spot post making sure you are using the keywords in the post on twitter.

8)You can also make a facebook page at the same time and feed the twitter feeds to facebook without having to do much with facebook either.

Nice tip, though it could get you banned from twitter.. SocialOomph has a good new feature, - Premium accounts only though, i think - - that lets you load quotations, and rss feeds, and it will drip the updates in every x number of hours, so that it doesn't throw up a red flag for Twitter.

Get accused of spamming though, and it's all over - Twitter will ban you without thinking twice.
