I Would Like to Know Your Suggestions On How to Promote YourOwn Product before Launchng it. let me add few from my side, more from your side would be appreciated. 1) Blogging About It 2) Communicating With Similer blogger/ Internet Marketers and ask them to talk about your product. 3) Doing A Soft Launch- Its like a preview of the product for selected people who qualify for it. 4) Ask the people who were qualified in #3. to reveiw your product. Now Over to You..........
Find some power bloggers on youtube and send them some free samples. Some of the people on youtube, their videos can get thousands of views minutes after being posted. Find some power bloggers on youtube, narrow it down to the top 5 or so in your niche, contact them and ask them about doing a review of your product. You want to look for how many subscribers the person has on youtube, the total views of their videos, how often they publish a video,,,, and anything else you can think of. Send the reviewer a free sample at no cost to them, let them do a review, post it on youtube, and you get your products in for of a targeted audience.
I've only seen this sort of thing successfully accomplished on a wide scale -- via extensive (read, expensive) PR.
Depending what kind of product, here's my version. - Blog about it. Including updates. - use social networking sites to bring traffic to your blog (twitter, facebook, myspace, and any other sites that you're on). - Use your list to get the word out. - use imnewswatch.com to get the word out. There's this other website that does the same, but I can't find it at the time. - Bring JV affiliate on board (contest- Gifts). - Press Release about it. - Make videos and spread it. - Give away cool stuff (make people like you, salt n pepper technique) - Do a little contest before launch(get your product for free) and make people actually interact. - Launch and hopefully it worked
I love this idea. Do you tell the video maker to send people to your sales site directly, or do you let him/her become an affiliate? He'd have to get something out of it.
thanks everyone, I have written a blogpost about it on my blog http://86blogger.com/how-to-build-buzz-before-launching-your-own-product/
