How to Promote website through Blog Commenting?

I had a question (This has nothing to do with back links, only promotion of websites):

What is the best way to promote your website through blog commenting (while giving valuable comments)?

The below questions pertain to only valuable and real comments, which are written after actually reading the article/blog, and not spammy comments:

Should We put our keywords/website title in the 'name' section or should we write one line at the end of the actual comment box to promote our website with a link or only a link at the end in the comment box (is the link in the comment box even allowed)?

If you suggest to put it in the name then, what is the best method:

Name: Your Keyword (what your website is about)

    Or:

Name: Your Name @ Your Keyword (what your website is about)

    Or

Name: Your Name | Your Keyword

    Or

    Name: Your Name

(But in the last method, you are not promoting your website, just getting a backlink)

Also, what is the best way to find blogs for your niche so that you can comment on it?

It's all spent out. Your name should be in the name area, the same applies to your website and email field.

Making useful post is the key to a succesful blog commenting technique.

    Hello my friend!

When I´m commenting on blogs I add only my homepage adress into the "website" box, and leave my real name. This way I have the highest acceptance rate (on moderated blogs!) and it doesn´t look spammy. That´s my experience, because it´s also not important to promote my website via these niche specific/relevant blogs. I do this only for backlinks from relevant sites.

To answer your second question --> how to find relevant blogs on google: I use google´s blogsearch!

Good suggestion, but it wasting time enough than use social bookmarking or dummy blog for looking for any quality backlinks

Dont try to write one line at the end of the actual comment box to promote our website with a link or only a link at the end in the comment box, most of the blogmaster will treat this as spam.

I agree. Just write your name and website url in the proper places so that it doesn't look like you are trying to spam.

Make sure you follow the TOS for the blogs you comment on, and like it says above me do not spam. Use the URL you are promoting only where it is allowed, do not use it in the body of your comments or they may not be approved. Blog commenting is a valuable backlinking stategy that if used correctly can help your SE ranking.

And why not to type the adress of the website in the appropriate field "Website"? I think that comments with keywords in the Name field look spammy.

here you know that for each blog post comment there is an approval needed so you have to mention all information regarding comment with a valuable statement and in the name section you can put your keyword by which possibly you can get targeted visitors.

It depends on the individual blog. Some blogs encourage you to put keywords after your name in the "Name" field. Others want you to type only your name exclusively. Many times you will know by looking around the comment input section, if they have checkboxes for CommentLuv or say something like "Your Name@Keywords Here" then it is perfectly safe to do so. If the comment section lists nothing like this, play it safe and only put your name.

Yes, that's true. Try to indentify the common points between your site content and the blogmasters interests, make your introduction natrual and friendly.

Putting something down in an inspirational way will do. You should appear as if you are an authority in that niche, then it doesn't matter if your giving link to your home page or a specific article - readers will do the rest.

Unless it's a blog that has auto approval, I would use a real name. Moderators usually won't approve a keyword as the "name"
