    you should outsource your work to an expert . actually you cannot learn seo like this. you need to spend years to learn seo and get top 10 ranking . so if you are serious about it . you mush outsource

    You can submit your site in major search engines by using a site submitter.
    BUT being indexed is one thing and rank well in an other.There many factors that affect rankings some of them are:

    Your site's text (Title,h1-h6,metatags,text,keyword density,keyword rank and more)
    Your page's pagerank
    The anchor text of your incoming links,the number of outgoing links that those pages have,their pagerank
    probably the age of your domain

    and much more.

    You can submit your website into different dofollow blog and directories...You can submit your article in different articles website...you can extend your backlinks using different link submission method...

    there are lof of resources available online. google for the terms SEO and link building and/or link development and you will be overwhelmed with information. basically what you need to do is to setup a site with unique content, have good navigation on the site, then work on link building. how many backlinks you will need depends on your competition as well as where you are getting the links form.
