How to Promote Web Services?

    I want to know what are the best ways to promote web services.

    Promote it the same way you promote anything else. The only advantage that I can see of promoting a web service is that you can easily promote yourself in forums such as this one. ;)

    If you were promoting weight loss you could not easily do it that way. Most forums do not allow it. But you should most certainly use the other methods too!!

    2/Social Bookmarking - digg, delicious, etc
    3/RSS feeds - use feedburner, submit site to loads of feed directories
    4/blogging
    5/Press Releases -http://www.prlog.org/ i-newswire.com / prurgent.com / pr.com etc
