Ha hah this is funny I have seen alot of funny threads lately but this one beats them all. I have seen threads on sites that make money with adsense and he asked for adsene tips , you have a tip's site and you are looking for tip's to promote. Does not anybody do research before they make a site and look like fools.

If you want tips for promoting start reading threads on how to promote there are hundreds start reading.

Search engine optimization, and submission to search engines should be a priority. Write on forums. Get some backlinks - that's where affiliation comes in. Most importantly, know the audience you are targeting, and be at the place they are in.

Content is king, so yes. Posting more articles will increase the chance of traffic.

No, that will bring more visitors. You have to realize, members are doing you a favour by writing in. So either, there should be some incentive (pay-per-view), or you must establish a strong sense of community pride on your website.

For the latter, what matters is design, initially, and in the long run, active users initially. It cannot happen overnight, but do ask your friends to join in.

Remember, people love free, and content is king. Give them something unique, or give them something for free, and something that's better than others, and make sure word spreads on the internet :)

I'm doing some promo there. I give $1 for every post about the website. Check it out. They just need to copy paste to their blog and get $1. What do you think?

If it's a blog or a website you should know what to do that is part of research or a tipsite which should know even before making it. Start by trial and error. Promote it social bookmarking sites, classified's, joining forums where signature links are allowed, submit to directories there are hundreds of ways. Try a few each day till bang one is working for you.Another way email sites that are similar to you and ask for a link exchange I did that to my sites not everyone gave but some did.

I just saw the website. The navigation is pretty mismanaged. Some nice tabs, and categorization works. The right, and bottom section of the website have so much blue text. Too much stuffing in of data. Make it simple, and very Web 2.0. Post around about your articles, get some comments. Ask bloggers to mention your articles.

remove 100000 ads from the site. you cannot start filling site with ads before you have lots of users. ads are killing your site.

Yep, the ads, the navigation, its really mixed up. I would recommend a redesign. I like the header navigation. The main section just isn't Web 2.0 material.

Just noticed - try putting the font face to Tahoma and sizing down text size to "-1"? Should improve the professional quotient of the layout.

It is not clear why someone should become a member. Looks like all the tips are available to members and non-members why bother signing up?
