How to promote new website

Hello,

I and several partners have created a new free online address book project which allows friends to keep in touch and share photo albums, journals, quizzes & send SMS for free.

I have tried using AdWords for promote the website, but didn't give much conversions.

I'm asking what're the best ways to promote this type of website?

If the site is new and is having problems getting indexed you need to build backlinks. The COOP network here at DP is a good place for some quick links, but you will also need a linkbuilding campaign, acquiring relevant links from similar sites to enable you to rise in the search engine rankings for your competitive terms.

Forgot to mention I'm trying to target US visitors

 

A good start for targetting people of specific countries is make sure the server your site is hosted on is physically in the same country

 

For targeting US visitors I think C.J is good one.

do i have to have at least 25 posts to join it?

i think i might make a good partner with you guys having around 120 quality multi-topical websites for link exchange.

 

Take look at the link in my signature, it is all explained there - quite a straight forward set up with lots of help on this forum if you get stuck. Your posts here don't affect it.

 

You can add each site into the coop and then 'bind' all your sites into 1 account, saves you having to manage many different accounts. The link exchange/selling forum is good,if there is a restriction on posting there it is because you kind of need to prove yourself a bit, 25 posts says that you aren't just here to con people but are actually a valuable addition to DP (which i'm sure you are )

 

I hear this guy will advertise on his body for $10K. It won't be for an extended period of time, but the media coverage alone will be worth it.

Getting top on organic listings is the best way of search engine optimization and will get u maximum traffic than any PPC. However if u use PPC wisely than u can cut down the no of clicks on ads and in other term getting only genuine leads.

 

HI, I too have joined COOP Network, now how much time will it take to get reviewed ?

 

If you have put the code on your site you should be ready to go within 24 hours i think. Each ad you create has to be manually checked so that may take a day or so, but from then keep an eye on the ad stats and watch your impressions rise
