How to Promote My Website and Services?

This has been bugging me for days and even weeks regarding promoting my site and services. I wonder if it is time consuming to promote my services to numerous number of people on the web who are really strangers to me or just plainly post my services on online classifieds...

What you guys and gals think?

 

If its a big hassle, just buy some google adsense banners and be done with it. And then let google deal with putting your banners and links on the correct sites. There does not have to be any hassle or worry about it. Keep things simple. If you want to advertise, pay someone else to do it so you dont have to worry.

 

Do both. Both methods have own pros and cons.

 

Create an affiliate program for small and medium blogs and sites within your niche.

If you buy adwords, make sure you set it to only display to people in the US at first, and make sure you study the reports of where the clicks are coming from and block all of the sites that you think aren't sending you quality traffic. You might also ask some medium traffic bloggers if you could pay them like 15 cents per click if they put your banner on their site and track the clicks with google analytics, good way to cut out the google adwords middle man.

 

Hmmm, almost everyone here has suggested to go with adsense and let google do the work. But the question is, how to buy adsense from google?

 

yeah i would also like to know how to buy adsense, is it the same as making adwords ad?
