How to promote my Squidoo lens?

The squidoo lens need to be promoted as an forum,blog or any other website. You can use some basic directory submission techniques such as directory submission, linkbuilding and article writing.
*Add your lens to Lensroll.com and Squidom. These sites are similar in principle to Digg.com and are exclusively for Squidoo Lens.
*Add your lens to Squidiectory, a categorized lens directory similar to Dmoz, and squidlog

I hope you can use Linkreferral to promote it the targeted user groups. All you have to do is register your page/website/blog/any web address including affiliate links in a right category (choose the category wisely because category matter for the targeting purpose).

Lenses look great, and can be an asset to your online business, but it seems to me that it is only marginally more useful than creating a free blog for the backlinks or doing some widespread article marketing.
