Hello . I have some questions about how to promote my software. I mean the software isn't mine but i have to promote it. I already did all SEO stuff, that's my work, but i had never worked with something like this, to promote a software. On Softpedia it has already something like 300000 donwloads in just 2 months. That is great! But I want to promote it more and more. I thought to write some articles about the software, but where? I have something like 50 sites to write, but if you know what are the best ones, let me know . Thanks.
the best way is ask bloggers to write about that software and give away a couple of licenses for free... that way people will be attracted to those reviews and many will get attracted to the software..
The software is already Free. FREEWARE Software. Ok, but the problem is, where to find those bloggers?
It also depends on the types of software. Can you post here ? For freeware submitting it to the freeware download site works well.
Getting bloggers to discuss is a great idea, as mentioned above. The other method is to get people who sell software to offer it as a bonus to bundle it as a benefit to their own customers. Get some links from downloads forums and forums related to your topic. Also submit to more websites to allow people to download it.
Prepare PAD software file and submit to many, many (there are big hundreds) download archives supporting PADs. There are also payed services that can submit it for you. If you're gonna to make your software shareware, signup with RegNow and allow for afiliates (15-30%). I sold about 1000 own sharewares with them.
what is your software about ? try to find the niche and promote. there are many methods like adwords,buying banners etc
