get links form related forums and other related websites within your forum's niche.
also get links form blogs by using the url feature when commenting.

This should get you started getting more traffic, then try some article marketing.

    start with scope/goals/plan

It's (relatively) easy to setup an empty forum or website. However (successful) forums are notorious for demanding huge volumes of traffic to maintain. Calculate how much you need to get (include a margin of error). Also factor in what you are spending to keep your forum active (an empty form doesn't get people to post so paid posters might be needed). This will give you an idea of what you need to accomplish. If you cannot find a way to get this that you can afford stop before you put money in. If you can afford it keep in mind scope when you promote it, my experience with forum postings is an average of (less than) one visitor per month per posting. So if you need to get 20,000 posters at a 3% sign up rate can you make enough forum postings to to make a meaningful percentage of the needed traffic? ( 110,000 forum postings for 100% of the needed visitors from this alone over the next 6 months.) Would this make you approach it differently?

Hello mfsohail, my suggestion is that you join many forums and social net works. In forums you can place your links of your forum as well as social networks also.

The design is ok.. not bad.. Try to post 10 threads a day and within a couple of months.. you'll get a decent amount of traffic from the search engines and your forum will move on from there..
    good luck.

I started replying and got carried away. Anyway here is a suggested overall plan on how you could promote your forum.

If you have a high margin site/page then forum signature links work fine. I believe that my example numbers above are reasonable for a forum with no traffic, maybe even slightly conservative. I estimated about 10 minutes per posting and 20 for forum registration. If you wanted to get 10% of your traffic from forums this would be:
    10min *110,000 posts * 0.10 (%) =
110,000 minutes = roughly 1,833 working hours or one year's work.

For a scope this big, it just isn't feasible.

...on the other hand buying other people's signature's so you get a link there might be feasible to give you enough traffic. Considering some people who sell their signature have thousands of posts it may be feasible to pay 100 people $5 a month ($500/month and a week to setup).

I'm guessing you also have the overhead of moderating your forum and that your spending money (and time) with paid posting so that new user's don't just leave. If you don't and your forum has nothing in it people will never stick around. So you have expenses which makes getting enough "real" regular posters quickly (before you run out of cash) a financial necessity.

For example he's one way you could do this:
Spend a week or two looking for related forums & bribe people to put your forum in their signature. There are services that act as clearinghouses between post signature sellers & advertisers. There is probably not enough willing posters in related forms to get you all of your traffic.

Paid links (permanent) $1-10 a link. (To rank as much as for traffic from the link). Each category and index page can rank for something but again unless it's attached to a website with existing traffic your have very limited pages to promote here.

Organic traffic from your existing pages. As you accumulate postings these will bring in a few visitors, some of whom will sign up. Up front you won't have much, don't expect much here until after your established. If you spam expect nothing here which will kill you once you are "successful".

Blog postings (outsourced) (20 minutes each = roughly $0.50 cents each (bad English). I had a 20% approval rate, expect less if you use people from India. This is of course commenting on other's blogs manually.

Article marketing: you pay somebody $30+ dollars for a quality article or $5 and pay somebody to proofread it. You link to your forum in the resource box. Optionally you put a copy of the article on your site (duplicate content, some people see this as a serious problem). I don't really know what to expect for traffic.

    10,000 visitors a month
    $500/mo (1 week+) on purchased forum signatures.
    2,000 visitors a monthSEO & Paid links
    one time $200- $1,000 outsourced (~10 hours)
80,000 visitors a month Article marketing (160 articles)
$2,500 one time fee + management of
contractors producing 800 hours of work (1 month)
10,000 visitors a month from business partnerships
Very large favors and a huge amount of professional begging
8,000 visitors a month from paid ads
    $200 - 800 a month Reduces time your
1000 loosing money on faking postings

10 hours a week for 4 months (half after 2 months) good English paid posters
    $1000
5 hours a week for 6 months paid posters (Indian)
    $200

Roughly $10,00 and 6 months part time work. Of course my numbers are off but as you can see this isn't for the feint of heart. If you lay off the paid posters and you don't have enough traffic to sustain conversation ALL your regular visitors will leave and you'll have only a tiny trickle of traffic left.

You have several things wrong with your site.

One - something from blinkX.com was stopping the page from loading. My computer sat there for 15 - 20 seconds waiting for what ever it was to load.

Two - There was some kind of scan that came from a security site? What exactly was that? What was the purpose of the scan, what are are you scanning for?

Three - firebug, which is a web developers extension for firefox, showed 6 errors on your home page. I was going to copy the errors and post them here, but that security scan kicked in and I left your site.

For site promotion, I mainly use videos. Click the "My youtube channel" link in my signature or examples on how I do this.
