Hello Guys, I have just finished setting up my webhosting. I bought a domain, I bought webhosting and I finished my ebook. I put my website online. Now its time to promote my ebook I would like to know, what are the goods ways to promote an ebook for free? Just out of curiosity, what's your URL? If you don't want to disclose it publicly that's fine. Obviously the first place you'd start would be forums such as DP, warrior forum etc. If your eBook genuinely is a good product, it'd be wise to give out a couple of review copies to respected members of the forum and get them to write a positive review about it in your sales thread. You should earn enough from sales on the forums to build up a decent advertising budget.
If it's on a useful subject, sell it a few times on the forums and then use the revenue to buy activated Adwords accounts.

Do you have a page to get people to opt-in to a mailing list which has an autoresponder up to help sell your book? That will help.
Another effective, and little talked about method is to take the first few pages of your ebook, and srtip them down to a PDF. Upload it to sites like softpedia etc. that allow ebooks, as well as torrent sites that offer ebooks to download. Simply include a link to the final book within the last page of the PDF or something, and it should provide you with some traffic and sales.
Create press releases about your new site and book. There are a few free press release sites; free-news-release.com prbuzz.com przoom.com ecommwire.com prleap.com pressexposure.com Make yourself a force to reckon with in the niche your ebook covers and provide useful information to forum members.
Search on google for potential JV's. Visit websites in your niche and make them an irresistible offer, like good commissions, free bonuses etc. Visit landing pages of people with adwords ads and JV with them to promote your offer. Give your ebook for free as a bonus and offer a backend membership site---which they have to subscribe in order to get the free ebook. cheers.
