How to promote Indian Forum?

I need help on promoting Indian related forum with Movies Mp3 and Gossipss and etc.

Can you share some tips that might increase the traffic of my site?

No SEO work has been done.

 

I would suggest starting with keyword research and Titles

 

Get a few quality links and you will start getting traffic for all sorts of odd terms.

Just make sure you add lots of fresh content every week.

 

Make your forum live by posting regularly, and giving people a reason to keep coming back (like a contest or fun pictures or whatever works).

 

Forums can take sometime to get started ... keep posting initially . If you plan to invest some money then run up some contest aswell .
Make some Controversial thread so that people try to reply to them . O yeah .. try to promote everywhere you can < even word of mouth > . Get links , networking sites sometimes also come handy . Good Luck ..!!

 

I think you shall provide some free mp3 and movies first to attract visitors, and let people know your forum.

 

Yea i do that, but how can i let the world know that i got a forum :S

 

Did you try e-mailing people?

 

you could try other forums which have the people you are targeting - don't spam just use your url in sig and slowly get it out there.
