I think the following should be done by every indian.... 1. Dont buy any product in which is promoted by any Indian Cricket Player. 2. Dont watch any live match in Ground. If by chance you saw any cricket playen in real life try to avoid him. 3. And one Important thing buy lot of tomotos and other stuff to Welcome the team @ earliest. Hope to get another funny ideas from DP members...... regards Lucky
saurav took the charge after the 99 world cup, and india went in to the finals of 03. after the falure of 07, i think saurav should be made the captain again, and perhaps an india coach will do fine this time. take in kapil dev as the coach, this is the time to bring your best into play!
Saurav , Sachin and Rahul should now retire. Rahul and Saurav are 72 born and Sachin is 73 born. They don't have much cricket left in them..at least not enough to last till next world cup.
1. Include at least eleven young chaps in the team 2. In the next world cup, only the teams like ireland, bermuda, kenya, canada, Nederland, scotland, Zimbawe, and Pakistan will be allowed.
Yes, its time for the Big 3 to call it a day. Make Yuv raj Singh captain. Get services of Kapil Dev, Gavaskar & Ravi Sashtri for the team management, not necessary as coach. Get a fielding coach like Jonty Rhodes Impose restrictions on how may products, one player can endorse etc. Pay them according to their performance Include more young blood into the team
sachin says he will play the next world cup, dravid also wants to. saurav is in good form.........so they are not going to retire now. atleast 2-3 years i think they all will play, whether we like it or not! then, you can always make kapil or mohinder amarnath as coach, but then the board wants to retain greg! it looks like that if you take 11 new players, in the next world cup we will be the minnow! like the ireland, or perhaps a bigger minnow, like the bangladesh! we have all gone though the rangi trophy, we don't have that much talent to bring up 11 new players. dhoni and yuvraj are young, so they will continue. and the bowlers won't change, as there are only a few options there. we have already seen the youngsters, people like kaif and raina, failed miserable, or perhaps the coaching failed them!
Think again ........Do you want pakistan in this list .......even we can think about bangladesh or not
Some more suggestions: When scheduling the international fixtures, give enough time for the stars of indian team to play in domestic Ranji & one days matches. Encourage players to get country cricket contracts in England . Give adequate rest to players using the rotation system. Fitness level should be improved thereby the fielding standards Go for a more aggressive captain.
I guess this suggestion will do the trick... but what about money bookies are providing them for fixing match ? I am more worries about this ...
- Pay them on their performance. - Cut out matches. - Play them in domestic league. - Bring new Players. - Ban on Advertisements or allowed only limited Ads. - Take training from some expert players like Kapild Dev,Sandip Patil. - Make difference team for Test and ODI.
Or start promoting gilli danda and kabaddi!!! See why India lost -> This is how Bhajji and Sehwag spent their net sessions learning about Caribbean cricket conditions.
Why blame the cricketers...it is the crazy Indian fans who have made them complacent... We have many sportspersons in India, who show great performance at international levels, but nobody cares for them. Our boxers are some of them.. we won four golds in the 2006 World Women's Boxing Championship...and yet most of the Indians don't even know the names of these world champions.
Bombaywala can you tell me what are they playing/doing.........both are looking very interested in that.
just ban international cricket for india, just one year! that will do good for all of them, and they will get back to cricket again.
Bring in a few baseball players. Here's one that is over 40 years old but can still hit the ball 500 feet (over 160 meters). Or you could just bring in his dietary supplement adviser.
