how to promote in local search engines ?

    Dear Forum Members,

    Anyone can tell me how to promote the website in local search engines example i m in dubai ,i want to promote my website(http://macnross.com) in google.ae ok, then what are the methods should i have to do? and one more thing my keywords ranking is good in google.com but same keywords i m searching in google.ae it's not listed in top100 also..

    So anyone please help me and explain what are thing should be do ?

    Each website have there own service area which is defined by the website owners activities like If your TLD is .com (mostly US baised website contain or websites having worldwide business), Your keywords (Hair Transplant Expert - which is without location. As per Google this is a worldwide service you are providing. If you have a local service or service in a particular location you should you local term), Distribution on internet(Off-page activities used for business promotion), and most important 'server location' (usually google see the server location and identify that in which location website owner want to serve the service. Its very important factor in case of serving local business), physical address available on the website..
    Hope now you can understand that why your keyword is ranking on .com only but not in .co.in.

    First you think how to understand SE your site in dubai?
    Is you write any where in you website? You are local/address in dubai or city.
    You should be use your location/geographic name in your targeted keyword.

    Just use LOCAL directories and try to rank for LOCAL keywords! Like if you are from New York and you offer Travel agency for example, you could work on a keyword like Travel Agency in New York or anything related to this. Local ARTICLE directories should do the trick too! But don't forget that normal websites and Social Bookmarking sites for example are recommended too no matter they are NOT local!!! Don't forget to use your LOCAL country/city in your main homepage about at least 3-5 times (this depends on the words count!) :)
