Hi, in November, I started my sports betting blog Betfather.net and now I think about getting more traffic (30-40/day without propagation now). I've got a problem with links exchange, because no one want to change links with new website, altough I have raising organic traffic without propagation which shows some potential. My target is about 500 visits/day and 1000 visits/day at the weekend. Is there anyone experienced in promoting betting blogs? Can you give my some advice or suggestion? Thank you in advance
Have you tried thinking about posting some videos on youtube/vimeo for you blog? If you are into paid traffic there should be plenty of new ways for you to drive traffic tho problem with it will be with your budget. Depending how much you are able to make out of those visitors Thanks, Johnny
They are an insane amount of ways to promote your site and any other site.... Ultimately you have to do it all in order to figure out what truly works for your niche, but you can try YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Social Bookmarking and the likes there of. You can always go the SEO route (which is what I prefer) to get FREE organic SEARCH traffic....and we all know that WORKS... All of this can be done for free if you learn from those that are having success in their respective marketing areas.. Holla!
You could make YouTube videos and have the link to your website in the description and also mention your website in the video and give a call to action to get people to visit your site. I am sure that there are also lots of sports betting forums. If you find one try and be an active member and help people out there. For example you might have a post on your blog that might give an answer to someones question. You could share that post with them. Also you can probably put a link to your blog in your signatures on betting forums.
I would as well stick to one method at a time in order to not split your efforts too much as in this case there is a high risk of distraction. Thanks, Johnny
Social networking I feel would be your best option. If you are a good tipster then people will automatically want to share their winnings and your URL. Try to promote social sharing on websites such as Twitter and Facebook.
Yes I would wholeheartedly agree an active presence on social media, try a Facebook campaign targeting particularly males between 35 and over in wherever your target geographic demographic is. Of course also don't forget to keep up with the natural Seo stuff.
Traffic boils down to figuring out where your target audience / demographic hangs out online and getting your ads or content in front of them, whether that be on blogs, forums, social media sites, video or wherever else. Go where your audience is and figure out how to get them over to your site - blog commenting, guest posting, video marketing, social media marketing, posting in high traffic forums with sigs, network with others in the niche, ego-bait them, give them something for free or do something for them without asking for anything in return. It will pay off eventually.
One of the options you have is to try to add your site to tipsters aggregators like TipGin.com. Also, BetHelp is great resource for traffic in this niche. Try also to add your tips to sites with free tipsters registration. There is tones of them, some will let you post link with your tips. Also, BettingAdvice.com is great forum, and have section where you can promote and verify your tips/records.
