How to Promote Coupons Site??

Hi!

I am the webmaster of http://www.couponsforsaving.com/ site, i am new in affiliate marketing, i want to know that how i promote this site,

I Participate in different forums and put link in my signature,

I also do Blog Commenting, but i not getting the results as much.

any one know the other different ways to promote coupons site??

Try to market on shopping sites as well. Thats your target audience.

 

It would be better if you accompany your online marketing with offline promotion such as marketing with postcards. You can print your web url on the postcards and customized a design that could attract your potential target market.

 

Try out advertising in yellow pages/classified sites, you can also offer Promo Codes to people those looking through forums social shopping sites.

 

Find some famous shopping webistes or forums,and then promote it there.Things will be better then.And also you
can try to use ads for your promotion if you think it deserves.

 

thanks for reply, but actually i live in Pakistan, there are no concept of online shopping so offline promotion has no advantage for me,

please give me some tips to promote my site online

can you give me the URL of some online shopping forums, many shopping forums are very strict and they doesn't allow to promote site in thier forums.

twitter? people get excited about coupons, and they will retweet.. and that will help you.. collect list of emails, and send out coupons to that list .. provide rss for your readers

 

Use your social media marketing sites...On your Facebook page, you can send out updates to your fans.

Hi, just a few thoughts on your site:
- Cloak the links (no one likes to see affiliate links and it looks more professional)
- Clean up design (Seems a bit complex to me, I like simple layout and easy to navigate)

Take a look at WP Coupon, it has a lot of options and even comes with Manage Affiliate Links (Link cloaker).

For advertising, try buying ad space on competitors sites. Also use social media sites.

 

Social bookmarking (slashdot, delicious, digg) and social networking (facebook, twitter) helps promote your forum..

 

a combo of facebook, myspace and twitter could be very helpful. Also, have you thought about google adwords?

 

In addition to SEO and making yourself present on social media sites, I would start an email list as well that you can market to on a weekly or monthly basis.

 

Try to promote it via buying links or blog post on shopping relevant blogs and site.
Besides, there are many eCommerce forums, where you could comment to build backlinks and attract traffic.
