title says it all really... can i get your ideas on how to best promote an XML feed? (presumably i want the feed quoted by as many sources/authority sites as possible.) should it also be offered as RSS? thanks in advance.
u can promote it with the URL in html itself. i guess link-building does the trick. also, subscribing to sites that makes use of RSS feeds--like bloglines.
submitting to those rss / feed directory. and maybe in your webpage, encourage user to use your feed so that they can get the latest content.
I'd put it in your signature in a forum like this one where people understand what it is and how to use it.
