How to promote a webmaster forum?

    Do a post-exchange with other forum owners in DP... they make 10 or 20 posts on your forum, and you do the same for them... creates content for the new site...

    that's my plan when I launch my forum in a month or two :)

    You can participate in other webmaster related forums with signature links in your post. That I think will help to drag some good traffic and if they have dofollow, it will help for PR juice.
