Hi everyone, I've been asked to help increase awareness for http://www.bestreception.co.uk/, basically a company that offers telephone answering, but I have no idea to begin, other than calling up every business in the directory book! And obviously, that's just going to make me many friends. Have you got any good B2B sales suggestions? Or could you recommend anywhere that's worth advertising? Selling to customers is easy enough, but selling from one business to another seems really difficult. I'd really appreciate any help.
Here's what you need to do...Find out their target market for the answering service. What the benefits of using the service? Are they expecting you to sell this service over the phone? I would think you set an apt. and do a presentation to the decision makers. Once you know the target market you can find plenty of places to advertise-online and offline. Hope this helps get you started.
I've got another meeting with the client next week. You're spot on about identifying an ideal target audience. Otherwise we could just approaching anyone and everyone.
I just read about it yesterday, I will explain it in general as below. Searching a company which have office in your town and make sure they have advertisement in google adwords. This is important, because the company will have budget for marketing and they spent some money in adwords. Send email or contact them and tell them why they need your services, in this case is how answering machine will help their business. hope that help..
You could also go after the people that are looking for the service in addition to being proactive in finding clients. The poster above hit it when he said you need to find target market. There are also companies out there that can build you referral sites that get ranked and point to your sales page. I would look into that as well.
Have they tried PPC advertising? I have seen http://www.alldaypa.com advertising a lot in paid search?
Hey, Id always give the same advice with this kind of question: 1) Find a niche area 2) Analyse the competition, can you find out how they get their customers? 3) Find out how you can better them and why people would use your company This is a great place to start anyway...
