I have a web forum (vbulletin) that use non english languange and i'd like to promote it. But i don't know the right way to do it, because most of the promotion way is for english site and most of them is not suitable with our habit. Maybe i'd like to share a little bit about our habit that make me confused to promote my site: - Just like to copy paste the content, but not share what we've got. The reason is because bandwidth upload in my country is very small and limited. - Emotional, easy to get upset. Please give me an advice to make my web forum have more member. Thanks.
Hi, what country do you live? Actually every site's promotion way are familiar. I do not think that the bandwidth will make people do not want to share their thougts. Maybe you can share yours first and lead them to share, when your forum is full of useful info, I bet more and more people will know it and visite it.
To have a forum with lots of members you will be needing lots of bandwidth. Because people visit different sections in a forum. And it takes a lot of bandwidth. You can use hosting from another country so you won't be limited by bandwidth restriction.
Tingteng don`t worry keep working my site is not english too.i started it april 2004 now i have 10 k daily and it is growing.I started my site with forum like you . managing forums are hard and get too much times( maybe 18 hours a day) but it is very good way for getting traffic
