How to promote a real estate listing portal?

    Hello all, I have a real estate and rentals listing directory, it receives up to 2500 unique visitors per day, but I would like to double the number of unique visitors, I would like to find a nice idea to promote it.

    Is there someone with a nice idea to increase targetted traffic on a real estate site?

    If your portal has a directory (I guess it has) require from the people who submit their sites to link back.

    I do link exchange, of course I have a directory, but I'm looking for an idea more powerfull than link exchange.

    I would like to have 100000 listings. and 10000 unique visitors per day.

    Post summaries of your articles on real estate forums such as www.propertytalk.com with a link back.

    Don't know how popular you'll be for doing it but if you are discreet and non-spammy you should be fine.
