Try making youtube videos where you review the product then link to your website to sell the product.
First! did you focus on fundamentals ? 1- is your "offer" (product) good enough ? 2- is your market really want your offer (product) ? if it's the case, look where your "future buyers" go... then serve them!!!
Try selling it for $97 (You'll notice an increase in conversions, trust me!) Also... You will want to consider youtube videos, article marketing, getting affiliates (not free, but free traffic) and getting ranked in the search engines. The search engines love blogs -- hint, hint
Go you youtube and look up the channel for TigerDirect, they sell computer parts and electronics. Take the stuff that TigerDirect does and reproduce it, but with your own products.
If you know a lot about your product (I hope), then go for article marketing. You will get free targeted traffic. If you do not know the fundamentals to selling a product, then you have a very hard time selling something for $100.

Well there are several different ways that you could promote your product. You could do Squidoo marketing, yahoo answer marketing, joint ventures, youtube marketing, facebook marketing, or article marketing. But I would suggest that you use squidoo and article marketing because they both provide content for your potential customers and they are free to use.
Promote your site through: blog commenting press release classified ads article submission forum posting (just like what you are doing now) social bookmarking
Why dont you use the 7 day free trial of senuke or a programme similair that will spam the crap out of forums and blogs
there is lots of way to promote your product but the best free way is facebook fan page, it is the most helpful in the promotion of new product & facebook fan page is the most attractive way to attract the customer with out the site
