I have a new freelance site but I don't know how to promote it. Can you give some suggestions? The site is www(dot)aidayi(dot)com Thank you!
Facebook could be pretty effective and cheap way for you + what about ad on servers about programming?
I have suggestion for first totally complected for the on page activity then after started for the off page activity i.e directory, social book marking, blog post ect.... thank you.
you are just doing that promotion job. but don't use only forums, use article marketing, PressRelease marketing blog commenting too.
I would agree about the social media side of things. I've just been to Success Speed in Gold Coast and they were all on about it.
ppc campaign can help you ,if possible try to go with a social media marketing company to boost up your work more faster
Use a good Link Building strategy combined with On-Page Optimisation and necessary Social Media promoting. NOT spamming!
Ask other webmasters or bloggers (which are related to your niche) to link to your website. The best way to promote your website is to take advantage of the major social media websites (Digg, Facebook Twitter..)
For many of us who create websites or have them created we do not have the expertise to promote, market or max SEO, and if you do not have the money to hire the expert or so called, the choices are then limited. I would recommend looking for a partner who would be willing to trade their expertise for ownership in your site. This is something I've been trying to do for both of my fishing industry website which have great earning potential, but dont they all
Hey aidayi, Promoting it here in the market place is a good start. Also as a service available on the Warrior Forum. Check out other forums related to your website and post comments with a link on them. Find Facebook groups related to your services and post in them. Answering ehow questions relating to your site can get very good, targeted traffic and joining LinkedIn groups that are related to your services. Good luck and a nice site! Martin Oz!
- go for linkedin as well because you can find more qualit visitor from linkedin comapre to facebook and twitter. - Use email marketing ! allow your visitors to subscribe as member and send newsletter to them. - Submit to as much directories as you can. - May think of using Google Adwords
Facebook can be good but it can also be difficult to convert into sales. Do you go on FB buy stuff? No, me either. I go there to chat, relate to friends and check out stuff they have posted. The only way to make FB work for you is to get into groups with a common interest and provide good info before marketing to them. FB ads are okay but you have to micro-target them or you just waste your money. I have spent a fair bit on FB and not made any profit for my efforts. Just my personal opinion.
