Hello, try facebook itself...if you're willing to do some paid marketing, I do believe Facebook PPC advertising platform is quite effective for some websites! What better place to promote your facebook website, than active facebook users themselves? Right.. Another tip: try creating a facebook group and invite as many people as possible...in that group, you would ideally publicize your website and how it would benefit audiences! As for as incomming links go, links from social networking sites would be ideal, as you find users of myspace are likely to be familar with platforms such as facebook, hi5, friendster etc....and vice-versa! Promote on Myspace, hi-5 and facebook... and maybe even friendster. If you have a myspace account, ask all your friends to join you at your site...also ask them to ask thier friends. Sign up your family members and have them use it. Buy links on other sites, like gaming or social networking sites. Good Luck
I'd go with the Facebook Social ads. It's quite different from Adwords but very powerful if used correctly. You just have to be a little more conservative than with Adwords or you'll get canned.
