    You can promote by
    (1) create Facebook page for your website. --go to https://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php
    (2) integrate your website / blog feed to facebook page and twitter so that the status get updated as soon as you update your website.
    (3) promptly reply / provide support to things posted at your facebook wall / twitter.
