Hi, I intend to start selling a MW2 eBook as it seems the niche is quite unsaturated at the moment. Do you have any ideas on how to sell it. I am intending to sell at a low price (sub $5) so it appeals to younger people and am considering a mobile payments service, so they can buy it without parents intervention(as it takes a lot more to convince a parent ) Does anyone have any ideas. That does sound like a profitable niche--I have 2 boys and they had to get the new maps that just came out on the first day. Try to figure out where these guys hangout. I know mine get on facebook--others might get on myspace. What good cod websites or forums are already out there? With a little work you could find a big gamers forum--last nite I just googled "Biggest forums" and got a nice list...guess which was #1?? Animae or whatever...those cartoon avatar things. Anyway, when you find the habits of your market...like where they hangout online...in which forums...then just market there. Here's an idea...get on facebook and make a group or fan page on your subject...like COD cheats or COD whatever. Then search facebook for people with cod in their profile...and theres your market. Now all you have to do is create your product and sell it
Infiltrate some of the online game communities. I'm sure COD have quite a few fan sites / forums, etc. where you can buy signatures or advertise directly. Just make sure you have a nice landing page and with a little or even no investment you will be able to drive targeted traffic and convert it.
Be very careful with that idea. Zynga is currently suing the bjesus out of people selling farmville and mafia wars ebooks. Don't do anything to violate copyright laws. Activision swings a MUCH bigger stick than Zynga.
You may consider to join COD MW2 forums to get explosures for your book. I would recommend you go with Clickbank for eBook like product but your price is too low to be sold with them.
