How to promot any url on facebook

please guide me i am new to facebook markeing what tricks should i use to do best facebook marketing

 

Start a page according to your url. Make some regular updates there. I think it will do some promotion in facebook.

 

One way is to start an event and invite your friends to that event to promote your URL.
Secondly share your link on your friends wall.
Third which is more traffic generator share your link in groups chat, pages, specially in commenting.

 

Finally, i think it also needs much time to promote your url.

 

creating a fanpage works best and using a social plugin on your site to get fans

 

I heard recently about each page needing a SSL certificate from 1st October! Does this mean we would need a SSL certificate for our website in the fanpages?

 

add a lots of friends. i say about 1000 friends then build a page to promote your site.
