Hi, I was just wondering how companies normally price their PPC managing services? Do you create a few packages, with minimum and maximum keywords for fixed prices? Or maybe a percentage of the money spent in adwords (with a minimum of course)? And are startup fees normal?
The PPC mgmt firm I worked at the last 4 years (and who's probably the biggest independent SEM firm in the world at this point, prices it services on either a flat % of spend basis, or a tiered % of spend, depending on the client. Typically the % fee is in the range of 8-10% on $100K+/month campaigns.
I probally won't be working with major clients like that within the first months, so I was hoping for a lower price example.. hehe! How about clients who spent $1000 to $1000 a month? 10% of $1000 isn't really that much, so do you use other prices then? And how about the set up fee? Is that normal?
$1000 initial setup fee, will do keyword research and optimize site. Then $300 per month to manage campaign.
I am a small guy, but I charge a $50 setup and $25 per month + all Google fees for really small campaigns ($100-$500 per month) - hope this helps!
