Wasn't sure what the best subject title would be, but had a quick question about google pagerank. I have a web site (let's call it the target site) I would like to be linked to the bottom of every blog post on one of my blogs. This would result in about 200 links from that blog to the other site. 1 - Would this hurt the site the "target's site" pagerank and/or prevent google from indexing it? 2 - If #1 is true, is there a way to link on every blog post without making a red flag go up on Google? Sorry if this is a dumb question...
No, I have a store that I'd like to link at the bottom of each of my blog posts. I want the traffic advantage from the blog posts... but I also don't want to prevent the store from getting indexed properly by google. I wonder if it would be best to use an image as the link instead of text? thanks for your help
Don't worry about PageRank. Concentrate on more important things like unique visitors to your site and perhaps SERPs position.
Just keep on building links and keep updating your site. That will help not only to improve your PR but also your traffic. Looks like double edged weapon
