How to prevent unique content from being taken/used?

I wrote a unique bio for one of my websites. I believe it is one of the most in depth and better ones out there for my subject, even better than Wikipedia.

My question is, is there any steps I can take to prevent or limit someone from just copying/pasting the information to their own site and using it?

    No.

You can convert the text into an image and put your URL (watermark the image). Other than that, there is NOTHING you can do to literally "stop" someone.

Don't publish it. Throw it in a vault somewhere. :)

Short of that, you can't stop someone. But, you can go after anyone that uses your work without permission.

Might be best to watch someone do it then send them a bill for $10,000 per item for licensing. :)
