    Hi,

How to prevent subscribers from unsubscribing?
It's inevitable to get unsubscriptions every time you promote a product to your list.

Well, it’s not impossible to let them stay subscribed, but you can do some other things to make them want to not unsubscribe right away.

Offer some options on the unsubscribe page, such as:
    Receive updates:
    Once a week
    Once a month
    Once per three months
    Never

    It might help :)

Build some ongoing anticipation about things coming up. Could be good content, or products you give away for free, free prizes, or just curiosity about things coming up. People are unlikely to unsubscribe if they know there is something coming up for free that they want.

You could also have a survey on the unsubscribe page, and find out exactly what you did that annoyed them enough to unsubscribe in the first place.

I guess you must continue to give your subscribers some fresh information on your website for them not to leave

Ask yourself why your subscribers joined in the first place.
Do they want the same type on information and news or do they want a mixture of many things.
    You could always ask them!

Ask them to personal email you to remove them from the list. ;)

Try not to make every message about a product and entertain a natural relationship with your subscribers...

    HI,

I would from time to time offer a free ebook, sample or something to entice them to keep subscribing and reading.

Well, you could ask them for the same details while unsubscribing that they entered while signing up. A majority of the people don't remember the exact details .. :p

Give them useful content that they want to read. I subscribe to a great newsletter and I look forward to reading it every week because it's packed with tips and articles. However, the woman does promote her products and services in every issue. She has just been able to balance the right amount of useful content with her product pitches so it's not "annoying" when she announces a new product.
