Hi. I have an article here http://vistarewired.com/2008/02/07/windows-vista-service-pack-1-sp1-rtm-leaked and there are download links i've provided. I am afraid people might just directly link to them and steal my bandwidth. How do I prevent it?
You can use a 3rd party host, IE megaupload, rapidshare etc. Just make sure you add files copyright text files.
You could periodically change the names of your links and replace the old filenames with nonmainstream porn to disappoint users of the leeching site.
I guess you are not allowed to upload it in your site unless you have redistributable pack. anyway, with the help of htaccess file, you can prevent people hotlink your uploads.
i use htaccess to stop leecher.... also i use leech protection on my cpanel.... and so far in 3 years all tries are disabled... even people try to hotlink my files... and everything is kicked out by htaccess...
