How to prevent network administrator using my IP to monitor websites I visited?

    Suppose I am in a software company where works 23 persons. Each person have computer and internet connection. All user under a network. All the pc'ds IP start with 192.168........ Some pc needs proxy and some not need proxy to use internet. All controlled by network admin.

    Can you please tell me, have there any way to prevent network administrator using my IP to monitor websites I visited , files I downloaded, my chat logs, my internet access history etc. ?

    You can't because your IP is largely irrelevant here. He'll just have to monitor or mirror the network port your PC is plugged into and he'll know everything he needs to.

    There is one way, but it's quite obvious. Don't personal browse at work.
