i recently discovered that my friends are able to see in their timeline where i comment, where i like etc... i am not talking about the side bar at the right. i am talking about their main timeline in the middle. how can i prevent them seeing everything i do?
Unfriend them? The point of facebook is that you can see what your friends like and comment on. That said, I'm considering creating a page that will be my "trolling persona" because a) I want a bit of anonymity and b) my friends don't need to see my trolling. I'll still log in as me but when I'm trolling I would just change to one of the pages We should see if dp users can come up with witty names for our trolling pages!
these are not the answer to my questions. i will not unfriend them, please dont write this as a bright answer and give me advice that i dont need. or turning off timeline of some of my friends on my timeline is also not answer. please read my question again. i want to know if there is a way to turn off what my friends see and if so how. and no your option about trolling as a page does not work. then you can not see things on your timeline. all i want is the specific answer to my question.
Then your answer is that you can't stop them seeing what you like and comment on because that is the whole point of facebook.
thanks. they should change that though... it is ridiculous... anyway the advice you gave about using your page... i tried and i really liked it... it also helps promote my page... why spend time with my personal account instead of doing the same thing with my page and getting more likes.... thanks..... any strategies about it?
You can't stop them sees your post unless when you post you edit it by posting public private only me you should click friends except (name of your friends)
If you change your privacy settings you might get some help on that, but you are not going to be able to restrict them for seeing everything-
