My site has been hit with click bomb for second time this month.... Is there any method or scripts that can prevent click bomb on your site?
The best way out is to take off the ads soon as you see a possibility of it! Might hurt you for couple of days but will secure your account in a long run.
^ That is not a solution at all because you cannot always see when you are going to get the click bombs. There should be some more professional approach dealing with this issue. I am also interested in this question.
The best solution is not to irritate those who would love to click bomb you. Sadly, that's not possible either as your never going to make everyone happy
I think that you can contact Google telling them that you noticed unnormal moving inside your acc.. I hope they could understand that.
Try to get the IP from which the click bomb originates and report it to Adsense. To be able to get the IP, use a third-part counter which you can get for free from statscounter.com. You can go ahead to find out more about the offending sites by using a whois server such as who.is; When you get information on the offender's host, report the abuse also to the host and threaten legal action if nothing is done. All you should ask is that links from the sites be blocked from your site. To save your Adsense account, you really need to be proactive about this, especially about reporting to Google. I hope this helps you. Please post back here if you need further help.
I would contact Google right away and explain the situation before Google take action agasint yourself. Ross.
Is there any more valuable answers regarding the problem of click bombing. I have tried some of the ways to prevent it from my blog but it doesn't work.
How about if you have your own day jobs and not at all times that you online. There should be another solution for this.
I had the same problem - I contacted google about any of click bomb in my website - but they just banned me..
Hi, There is one solution and one only.... Replace the Google Ads with ClickBank ads or some other ad banners or text links. And, let them click away, also it makes sense to track each and every activity on your web pages. That way, you get an email the moment something is wrong and you can take corrective action soon.
I don't understand it, why google do not find any solution for this problem. I think, it should be easy for them to control the clicks like, showing a simple image to those, who just clicked an ad, or not counting the second click fro same ip in xxx secs/mins etc. (There was an ad-blocker code earlier, we could use it but now it doesn't work, I think google can also include such a code in ad codes or in their scripts. They do everything, therefore i think they can just find very easy solution for the publishers, too. I mean, it is just stupid to know that you can get a clickbomb anytime, and bum! banned. Just not logical enough.
