How do some people post 30 comments from 1 location (one computer) and appear to have posted them 30 comments from 30 different locations around the world?

they appear to be posting from different locations, yet they are on the same computer-

-it is the same for creating accounts- appearing they have Not been created by the same person, when in fact they have. ?

is it some clever software that they use?

Squid proxies and VPN connections are the most prevalent. There are also Remote Desktop Connections (RDA).

Is there a specific method you were looking for?

    You can use socks4/5 protocols

you can google it to find out free applications. then you can set up a specific country ip to ur browser ( or any particular application )

eg: if you have portable firefox, u can set up a different IP to that firefox. then open ur blog and post comments. and change ur IP location through ur socks software and restart ur firefox, and can post comments again. its simple. but cant get speed net connection through free socks IP.

Yep, most likely proxies are being used. There are many software packages out there, including Tor that provide numerous ip addresses. Although Tor is quite slow, many people use it. I see it most often used by automated forum spammers all the time. In your case, is this spam related?
