    the major problem to comment others blogs is "nofollow" tag. I can't get backlink from them :(

    More than backlinks, Leaving comments is more on socializing. You do not tell someone that his post is nice to gain something from him, right?

    You do that because you feel that his post is really nice.

    Just my 2 cents.
