How to point a subdomain to another host?

    I have a domain say www.example.com in godaddy which points to a blogger blog.

    Now I want a subdomain say http://subdomain.example.com which I would like to use as a site hosted in a hosting server which I have already bought.

    I want www.example.com to remain as a blogger blog and want to use subdomain.example.com as another site.

    Can anyone tell me how to do this.

    You should change, if you have acess, the dns zone for the domain example.com, and add an A record for the subdomain pointing to your new server ip adress.

    And you need DNS control of the domain name to create A record.

    Create a A record as below:
    subdomain A Your server IP

    You can add second A record in same way. Replace the subdomain with your actual name.

    All rite. After some search work and help from your replies i made it this way.

    I have a Reseller hosting and so I have a WHM control of it also.
    I made a new account there as subdomain.example.com. Took the IP from there and changed the A Record in godaddy to that IP as subdomain - 6x.xxx.xxx.xxx.
