how to pm someone on digital point forum

This might sound a bit silly but I couldn't figure out how to PM someone in digital point, I managed to get to the profile page but this doesn't seem like the right place

True, same query. I am also not able to PM (privately)

 

what do you mean by (privately)?

 

when noone else is able to see conversation between me an other person (whom I want PM)

 

well no-one else can see it, just you and whover you are conversing with, unless you invite others into the conversation.

Do keep in mind that PM's are only saved for 6 months then they are automatically deleted. So any PM with important contact info should be saved either by rewriting somewhere else, or sent as an e-mail..
If you're a Premium member they are saved for 1 year I believe.

 

Just to warn you, don't PM someone for no reason.. I got few PM-s by the members who were just spamming me, so I did have to report them..

I think that you or any member on here that are having issues ought to simply come on this forum, and either create a thread or make a comment posing a question. Why spend time trying to figure it all out on your own? Members helping other members is what DP is all about.

 

Thanks it did not look like a private message but now its clear

 

pm means private message!!
to start pm
to place the mouse on the inbox(is located after your name or before alerts)
click the start a new conversation.
the webpage opens
type the sender's name int the participants text box.
give title for your pm in the conversation title text box.
type the body of your pm.
if any upload? click the upload a file
click the start a coversataion.

that's all!!!!!

How can you add a microsoft word file and attach with your PM? Anyone help me. Thanks.

 

Upload your ms.word file in other place, google for it. And then give the link to your PM user. Done..
